USGBC issues green building badges to reward awareness or proficiency in distinct knowledge areas. Badges are knowledge-based or activity-based. View badge Q&A’s.
Knowledge-based badges
You can earn knowledge-based green building badges by taking four courses in the USGBC course catalog that are eligible to earn each badge; two above the basic level. Then you must pass the quiz for each course. Click the icons below to access the courses for each badge.
Activity-based badges
You can earn activity-based green building badges by participating in a USGBC program or committee.
Share and celebrate your achievement
Badges are meant to be shared and celebrated. Earned badges can be accessed in your USGBC account and they are also publicly displayed on your USGBC personal profile in the directory. Integrated with Badgr backpack and LinkedIn, you can easily share your accomplishments with colleagues and employers.
