USGBC Washington is one of the newest communities of the U.S. Green Building Council. Our goal is green building for every person in the state of Washington to experience a green building within this generation. USGBC’s primary tool for market transformation is the LEED rating systems, which now certifies over 2.3 million square feet per day around the world. A critical part of fulfilling our mission of sustaining the health and vitality of our communities is growing and supporting a community of professionals and practitioners that work to create the built environment. The people that use and occupy buildings are at the forefront of creating healthy, clean, resilient buildings. USGBC Washington educates, connects and develops the people that make USGBC’s work possible.
