USGBC Idaho champions high performance, socially responsible and environmentally sensitive development in Idaho.

Our staff, board and committees, volunteers and members work to accelerate the implementation of smart, healthy and sustainable building practices in the Gem State. By educating and engaging professionals and consumers in the development sector about optimized building technologies and sustainable design practices we endeavor to transform the built environment in Idaho. We coordinate workshops, tours, classes, and host guest speakers to promote the exchange of ideas and best practices around green building, energy efficiency and sustainable development.
