USGBC Alabama is at the forefront of environmentally-sensible development and sustainability in the state. We work at the national and regional levels to advocate for high performance healthy buildings, and deliver high-quality sustainable building education and networking opportunities.
USGBC Alabama is working to raise awareness of green building principles and practices in the state's building, design, construction and real estate marketplaces. Through partnerships with other local, sustainability-focused organizations and providing opportunities for members to exchange green building ideas and information, USGBC Alabama is helping advance sustainability in the places where we live, work and play. Our members are located all across Alabama, and there are now nearly 1,300 LEED Accredited Professionals and LEED Green Associates in the state.
