A benefit dinner hosted by Origin India Owner Raja Majid and Executive Chef Vinod Ahuja to support the first ever statewide Green Schools STEM Summit being held October 10th in Las Vegas at West Career and Technical Academy.
The theme for the 2015 Green Schools STEM Summit is, ‘Connecting Sustainability, STEM Education, and Urban Agriculture,’ and the primary goal is to arm teachers with the knowledge and tools they need including classrooms that are Green, Healthy learning environments where every child can thrive.
With over 15 community partner organizations participating and over 200 K-12 teachers from around the state expected to attend, the Green Schools STEM Summit will provide valuable information from national experts in sustainability, a wealth of hands-on classroom and curriculum tools for teachers, as well as a huge dose of inspiration for making our schools great places to teach, to learn and to grow!
The proceeds from each dinner purchase go to the Green Schools STEM Summit scholarship fund.
