Greenbuild is where members of the green building community meet to network with customers, potential partners, and new and old friends, as well as to earn continuing education credits and learn about the latest developments in LEED and the green building industry. This year, Greenbuild will be held in the nation’s capital, near the site of USGBC's headquarters, Sept. 26–29. The location in Washington, D.C., sets the stage for special ways to celebrate USGBC's Leadership Awards, its 30th anniversary and the public officials advocating for policy changes that enable buildings to drive climate crisis solutions.

Excitement generated at Greenbuild 2022 has led to a viral buzz about the importance of attending this annual event. (Check out the highlights reel from last year’s event). The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report released on March 20 cited “multiple, feasible and effective options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to human-caused climate change.” Greenbuild is the premier showcase for many of these options.

USGBC will also be hosting events in its home of Washington, D.C. Sponsorships are available for Greenbuild tours, which take place on Tuesday, Sept. 25 and Friday, Sept. 29. The District is one of the most active LEED markets in the world, so this year's tours are expected to generate tremendous interest.
