This project completes Phase 2 of Kaiser Permanente's Master Plan for modernizing and expanding its Redwood City Campus. The new facility is a 198,000 square foot, four story Medical Office Building (MOB) adjacent to the Phase 1 Hospital completed in 2014 - LEED Silver certification. Located at the northeastern corner of Redwood City’s Historic Downtown area, it is well situated along pedestrian, bicycle and transit routes.
The MOB facilities include offices for Providers, approximately 500 staff, a full service Pharmacy, Laboratory, Conference Center (for Member educational programs,) Radiology department, and Outpatient Surgery Center with Operating Rooms.
