Green Building Alliance
Green Building Alliance (GBA) is the regional chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, proudly serving three branches: Greater Pittsburgh, Laurel Highlands, and Northwest Pennsylvania.
Green Building Alliance is an Original:
GBA was founded in 1993 and was the first U.S. Green Building Council affiliate.
A Regional Catalyst:
GBA strives to meet the ever-growing and changing demands of the green building marketplace through its education programs and initiatives.
Green Building Alliance (GBA) has worked to advance healthy, high performing, and sustainable buildings, communities, and products in Western Pennsylvania since 1993. An aligned chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, GBA proudly serves 26 counties in Western Pennsylvania through three branches: Greater Pittsburgh, Northwest Pennsylvania, & Laurel Highlands.
GBA works to inspire the creation of places that are environmentally responsible, socially just, and economically viable. We achieve this through four primary approaches: a Green & Healthy Schools Academy; education, outreach, and technical assistance; policy and advocacy efforts; and the Pittsburgh 2030 District.
We are supported by a cadre of members, sponsors, foundations, and other funders in this work. Please join us!
