As part of the company's "Commitment to Sustainable Buildings", Colgate-Palmolive has been a USGBC member since 2007, and is currently a Platinum member. Additionally, Colgate is a charter member of the USGBC LEED User Group: Industrial Facilities. Today, Colgate has LEED-certified manufacturing facilities around the world and is working on several additional LEED construction projects in the U.S., Latin America, Asia and Europe. Not only do the LEED buildings reduce Colgate’s environmental impact, but the new site locations also reduce the Company’s overall exposure to water and climate change related issues.
