“Earning LEED for Cities Gold required a lot of hard work and collaboration between departments to showcase our commitment to building a sustainable and resilient Tampa,” said Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. “This means ensuring residents continue to have access to clean water, clean air, green spaces, affordable housing, jobs, and more. It means building sustainable structures and supporting strategic and thoughtful growth, all while preserving the character of our unique neighborhoods.”
