USGBC and Greenbuild’s scholarship application to attend the 2023 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is now open. The annual scholarship program brings community and sustainability leaders to the table to encourage and empower individuals to transform the way we do business in the building industry.

Greenbuild will take place in person in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., Sept. 26–29. The scholarship provides expanded benefits including a complimentary Greenbuild Learning Package Pass, which includes access to three days of in-person programming, hands-on workshops, daily keynotes, pre-event digital summits, the Greenbuild and IWBC Expo, and all Greenbuild-hosted evening events. Eligibility requirements

Scholarship recipients must

Be 18 years or older as of May 31, 2023.
Not have attended Greenbuild in the past.
Guarantee attendance at a digital convening of scholarship recipients on Aug. 9 and at Greenbuild in Washington, D.C., Sept. 26–29.
Not be staff, contractor or holder of a volunteer leadership position with USGBC, GBCI or Greenbuild.
Demonstrate a valid and reasonable need for the scholarship as evidenced by the inability to attend Greenbuild without one, due to financial and/or professional constraints.
Demonstrate how your background merits receipt of a scholarship.
Commitment to partnering with USGBC to advance health and sustainability in local communities in 2024.
Commitment to submitting a 150-word or 30-second video testimonial on your experience at Greenbuild in Washington, D.C.

Complete the application by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, May 26, to be considered for a scholarship. Notifications will be delivered by Monday, Aug. 9.
