Based in Shawnee Kansas, Jennifer Gunby is the Senior Manager for State & Local Advocacy at the US Green Building Council. Prior to joining the USGBC team, Jennifer developed a broad background in sustainability, energy efficiency and project management experience through her work at the Institute for Market Transformation managing the Kansas City Energy Project and at GBA Architects + Engineers leading the Energy Studio. Jennifer is also a former city councilmember of Roeland Park Kansas, licensed engineer (PE), a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and an Association of Energy Engineers Renewable Energy Professional (REP).
